Register Domain: Even if you do not know what a domain name is, or how to register a domain name, you have used one already. A domain name is a name like www.example.com, or the one that you have used to access this page, truehost.co.za.
A domain name is an address that is used to access online content. This means that for one to have a website that will be accessed online, they need to have a domain name. One thing to note is that registering a domain name is not buying the domain name forever, but more like leasing the domain name. The domain has to be renewed from time to time, at least for a period of one year.
Domain Registrars
Domain registrars are the people who are accredited by ZACR or any other registry to offer domain registration service to registrants. In South Africa, ZACR is the registry, while the person registering domain is known as the registrant. A list of all ZACR accredited registrars can be found HERE.
